Now that you are awake, there are a couple of things I need to clarify from the ‘launch statement’ to help you understand my ranting rhetoric. My circle of friends and family are used to me commenting about ‘bologna’. In the ‘fried’ form, I can eat my weight in the stuff, but there is another item that this term represents. The constant rhetorical horse dung that most politicians and big business idiots spread throughout the universe could qualify as excellent bologna. Bologna is thought of as a near cousin of the infamous ‘SPAM’ and a brother to ‘potted meat’ in the eyes of most individuals I speak with concerning their interest in the favorite ‘Oscar Myer’ treat. I find neat parallels between this nitrate filled meat and the top 1% of the controlling class.
If an individual likes bologna, they don’t care what ingredients make the item a salty treat. Those who are into great diet, supplements, specialty services, and so forth are going to stay away from the compilation meat product. The truth is that bologna is a true rag-tag mix of meat and chemicals, and maybe that makes it hard to understand. Once someone has lost the desire to understand something, the attention to that something’s progress and/or actions is reduced. Bologna may be mysterious and weird to some, but to others it is a true culinary delight. The crowd that dislikes the product can make a strong case for the fact that the nitrates in the meat can affect brain operation and possibly life span. The crowd that enjoys bologna can make a good case that global warming and second hand smoke will get you long before the effects of magic meat. Both sides have diverted from the original concept of discussing the meat itself. This back and forth verbalization of who is right is the steadfast medium that allows for ‘smoke and mirrors’ and political agendas. Bologna serves as a nice analogy to sum up the true essence of the struggle.
It is the true attempt of this site to give you the “guts” of what is done to put these principles into play, NOT to sway your opinion one way or the other. As Americans, we have the greatest gift on the planet which enables us to change things for the better without firing a shot. Every now and then we have to back away from our distrust of items that we do not understand, and embrace the rational thought behind them. I know this can be scary and sometimes painful, but the neglect of such principles will surely lead to pain and fear in the future (example – ignore the tooth decay all you want, but one day the teeth will fall out). Once someone truly understands how important the teeth are to their life, they will begin to advocate for dental hygiene, and so forth and so forth. About this time, you are saying “duhhh… everybody knows this!” Well, in theory yes, but if that is true, why is the system failing on so many levels? These are the questions we will attempt to shed some light and understanding on, without getting caught up in finger pointing and anger based selfishness.
