Growing is grand

Stepping away from something produces many emotions. The passing of a loved one…  a sidelining injury…  graduating  from school…  leaving a job… dropping  an abusive  boy/girlfriend:  all force one to step away from some piece of their desires, and face the question – “Can I be the hero, and accept the notion that maturity requires flowing with the fabric of CHANGE?”

“Hero?, you stupid putz… I’m leaving this blog, and finding someone serious about MY life crisis!”… fine, be gone with you and keep sailing the seas of frustration and lack of joy.

You there… that decided to stay. What makes you read on? (take a moment, a definite answer will help to reinforce your interior hero)

I assume you are not here because all is well, and you are bored with your beach experience in Taihiti, so you figured you would surf random blogs to gain insight to doubling your millions.

Your millions may not be in your bank account, but you do already possess them. Money can not be your ideal of success in times of anxiety and worry. The media is doing a great job of scaring everyone into the beginning of paranoia and depression… but this time of distress is nothing more than a cloak of CHANGE.

Where is your head? Why do you feel insecure? What road do you envision coming into focus for your near future? There are things in the world that are desperate… your mortgage is still due, your utilities are due, and money is still required for living; BUT, you have methods at your disposal to cope with the change.

Do not panic, take a deep breathe, and stay away from the things you can not control.

If your head is in the right place… growth can be great, even under the utmost of clouds and rain.

See you tomorrow,

N.R.

Keep Thinkin’ Positive!!

I have been busy with work and getting slammed with personal emails about life issues. Thank you for that, it just means my blog gets smaller effort… but I am still here and kickin’.

The news seems to be getting worse and worse from around the globe and it plays on everyone’s mind. Iraq sticks with those that are sensitive to ’sorrowful’ energy and develops a cloud that can damper your entire day. Stay with the grind of every day and know things out of your control should not dominate your emotional composition. From Washington corruption to immigration issues… these are detractors from your well-being. Have sympathy for all that are hurt by these conditions, but keep yourself in a higher plane above the pain. Those who do so will be the catalysts to a brighter future. I wish I could change large problems in a day… but that does not happen. Truth is that it will take all of us to improve the state of the world.

(Big topic in my discussions with people) Al Gore’s film on climate change seems to have a negative effect on people. Know that our environment is changing… and yes, if all the polar ice caps melted, Miami and New York would be gone and the axis of the Earth would be forever changed… BUT that does not mean that it ABSOLUTELY will happen. Just as the human body has miraculous recovery properties, the Earth can do the same. Congress members are not as stupid as they appear, they just need time to help companies develop efficient plans to convert their activities. Hold hope close and spread optimism that one day the ‘old-school’ idiots will be removed from D.C., and highly motivated individuals will help to correct the problem. Never underestimate the result of telling others “we are doomed… there is no return, etc.”. You may be able to lift above that negativity, but a single mother concerned about her child’s future may allow that fear to run her in the ground. Help the future be brighter… don’t give the present ugliness power.

Stand tall and rest easy,

Struggle makes Soul firm (response to clouds)

I got mail about my ‘Black Cloud’ writing.

I know saying ‘keep your fight alive’ is easier said than done. My writing is not to simplify your life or give you false encouragement. I can tell you that those around me (including my family) think I am following the wrong road and making a mistake chasing my dream. The picket fence and Volvo is THEIR way of life, and I have never felt that was my destiny. Will I succeed?, who knows, but I can tell you I have been through a very long battle to make my dream go, and I got to the point that writing to an open highway helped more than sitting and spinning with others’ negative tone and harsh words. The country has gotten to a point where no one likes a ‘boat-rocker’ and I think people have to chase their ideas to make better opportunities for others. Is it easier to be stupid and live by everyone’s desires for you? YES. You have to ask yourself if you want to risk being who you love, or settle for who ‘they’ love. Some will abandon you; some will try to put you down; and others will try to block your path. This is the most difficult part of cutting your own path, and that is ‘the Black Cloud’ that must leave. Do not be mean or try to prove others wrong, because that intensifies the cloud and hides any light at the end of the path. Once this ’struggle’ becomes comfortable, your Soul takes over, and accomplishment will begin! I fought everyone around me for the longest time, and it wore me out and almost (still might) put my project under. I write to help those with no support. Let all the haters keep talking; most of them are doing nothing or afraid you may surpass their success. The cloud is there to set you on a path that will be yours if… and I me if… you can break the grip of living someone else’s dream. Specific issues you run into… email me, I’ll send you some ideas. Hope this helps for the one who thought I was running off at the mouth.
